Stronger Together is a short piece for string orchestra that uses music to represent the impact of a group united. Throughout the piece, the orchestra alternates between melodies that are often offset or in canon form and large unison moments that arrive with significant impact.

This piece is accessible to very young orchestras, while having enough musical substance to be played by older ensembles looking to concentrate on more advanced elements like phrasing and consistency in a variety of bow strokes. This makes it a convincing choice for cluster concerts. The addition of percussion parts that allow for creativity from the players offers a unique opportunity for the musicians.
Stronger Together was composed for the 2019 Middle School Outreach Ensembles (MSOE) organized and hosted by the Music Education department at Colorado State University.
