TERMS & CONDITIONS
Your License
When you purchase a work, you receive a license to print and perform it for the ensemble or performer named on your order. That name is engraved on your PDF score and parts.
Within that ensemble, you may:
Print as many copies of the score as you need — for your conductor, assistant conductors, staff, and graduate students.
Print parts for the members of your ensemble, including replacements and extras for doubled sections.
Make copies for festival adjudication, contest, or assessment. No additional purchase or permission letter is required — a permission statement is printed in the score itself.
Perform the work publicly, in concerts and contests, with credit to the composer.
Keep copies in your ensemble's library for future performances.
What isn't permitted
Sharing or distributing files, scores, or parts to any performer or ensemble that has not purchased the work.
Uploading PDFs to public websites, file-sharing platforms, or social media.
Removing or altering watermarks, copyright notices, or score markings.
Reselling or redistributing the music in any form.
Creating arrangements, transcriptions, or derivative works without written permission.
Commercial recording or synchronization — film, television, advertising, video games — without a separate license. (Recordings of your own concerts, for your ensemble's archival, educational, or promotional use, are welcome.)
If another ensemble would like to perform the work, please send them my way. If you're ever unsure whether something is permitted, email me — I'm glad to clarify or help find a solution.
Delivery
PDF orders (available worldwide)
Every score and set of parts is engraved by hand with your ensemble or performer's name.
Delivery is not instant. Most orders go out the same day; please allow up to 72 hours.
Delivered by email from contact@kevinpoelking.com. Please check your spam folder and whitelist this address.
You may specify the ensemble or performer name in the "Licensed To" field at checkout, in the order Notes, or by email after purchase.
Physical orders
Shipped via USPS Ground within 1–7 business days of purchase.
Free shipping within the United States.
Most U.S. orders arrive within 3–5 days; please allow up to 14 days.
Printed scores and parts carry no watermarks.
International shipping
Physical scores and parts can ship outside the U.S. by request. Additional fees and longer delivery times apply — email contact@kevinpoelking.com for a quote before ordering.
PDF orders are available worldwide at no shipping cost.
Rush delivery
Rush delivery may be available at additional cost. Add a note at checkout or email me directly.
Returns and Refunds
All sales are final and no refunds are issued. Scores and parts are engraved individually for each order and delivered digitally, so they cannot be returned.
If there is any problem with your order — a file that won't open, a damaged shipment, a wrong or missing part — email me at contact@kevinpoelking.com and I will make it right.
Access
Through Music4More, I offer discounted music to under-resourced schools and chamber works to full-time students. If that's your program, please reach out.
Privacy
I collect only what I need to fill your order and stay in touch: your name, email address, shipping address, and the ensemble or performer name you provide. Payment is processed by Wix.
I do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.
